- Meets with clients’ General Counsel, Human Resources Department, and Corporate Senior Management to gain an understanding of clients’ search criteria and compensation goals.
- Thoroughly researches clients’ business models, products, cultures, and personalities to appropriately market and sell job openings to potential candidates.
- Source candidates from Kerwin Associates’ extensive database and contacts of 19,000 attorneys.
- Markets clients’ job opportunities and companies legal departments to select candidates. Maintain informative spreadsheet of who has been contacted, with extensive notes of candidates’ thoughts and perspectives.
- Screens and interviews appropriate candidates. Maintains spreadsheets of all candidates interviewed and their feedback regarding the position interviewed for.
- Maintains interactive communication with clients to ensure goals of both clients and candidates are being met; i.e. compensation, level of hire, etc. Aids clients in determining appropriate compensation and benefits packages to be offered.
- Reference Checking.
- Facilitates negotiation process to enable clients and candidates to reach a satisfactory agreement that both sides consider “a win.”
