Marketing Contracts Administrator –
Gaming Company

Our client is seeking a Contracts
Administrator to join it’s Material Planning and Procurement team.
This ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract
negotiation and purchase agreements related to marketing
initiatives.
Description:
Serving the Sales and Marketing
organization, this position will own the purchasing contract
activities that are critical to driving direct consumer touch points
such as advertising, event marketing, merchandising promotions,
research, and proprietary sampling tours. Candidates must also excel
working under limited direction in a remote location.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in the development and
fulfillment of contract requirements for the purchase of services.
• Negotiate favorable prices, terms, and
conditions of major contracts and purchases while ensuring
compliance with all laws and regulations.
• Brief company management on proposals and
negotiations and establish negotiation objectives.
• Prepare and administer requests for
information, proposals, and quotations.
• Interpret contracts, organize or process
correspondence with sub or prime contracting parties, and monitor
fulfillment of contractual obligations.
• Issue and administer Purchase Orders in
conjunction with contracts and agreements.
• Analyze bids to recommend or determine
awards.
• Assist internal Marketing division
representatives in supplier research, selection, and qualification.
• Follow all procedural requirements
related to purchase order documentation.
• Establish procurement strategies for
specific suppliers and commodities.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or
Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) designation
required.
• 5-10 years contracts, procurement and
marketing experience.
• Experience working in a marketing
environment responsible for creative collateral and managing agency
partnerships related to advertising and consumer promotions.
• Ability to demonstrate flexibility and
diplomacy.
• Ability to facilitate and negotiate to
achieve consensus a must.
• Ability to apply comprehensive knowledge
of merchandising, advertising, and marketing methods, operations,
and related disciplines.
• This role requires up to 25% domestic
travel primarily between various company locations in the US and to
certain suppliers.
