Contract Attorney – South Bay

Our client, a billion dollar global leader in the technology industry, is seeking a Contract Attorney to join its legal team. Reporting to the Managing Director, Legal Services, you will provide various corporate and commercial legal services to several Sales and Marketing business units.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts such as strategic alliances, joint ventures and purchase agreements.

 • Develop, coordinate, and provide legal training programs to company personnel.

 • Work with internal clients, outside counsel, and other members of the Legal Department on various transactional and counseling matters.

Requirements:

• 5-15 years of previous legal experience: Strong preference for significant transactional experience at a leading in-house or technology company. Previous experience with global sales a plus.

• Outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

 • Able to work independently, as a team player, and as a trusted business partner with internal clients.

• Ability to handle a sophisticated environment and challenging work load.

• J.D. from accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.

• Admission to the State Bar of California.

Hourly compensation commensurate with candidate’s background and qualifications; Full-time position.
