Our client, a commercial bankruptcy boutique with a sophisticated regional practice seeks an experienced bankruptcy associate to join their thriving practice.

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will assist with running cases, doing law and motion work, performing legal research, conducting discovery, handling contested matters and appearing at court hearings. This is a long term opportunity for the right person.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years litigation experience
• Federal court litigation experience required.
• Bankruptcy experience preferred, but not required.
• Previous experience in Santa Rosa, San Francisco and Oakland Bankruptcy Courts a plus.
• Excellent analytical and writing skills; previous experience taking depositions.
• A sense of humor and strong work ethic.
• Ability to multitask, problem solve and be a team player.

Compensation – commensurate with experience.
